I Ching Relationship Tools (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides educational relationship-reflection tools and content through familybridge.net and related pages that link to this Privacy Policy.
This Policy describes our current public website. It does not apply to third-party websites, hotlines, social networks or other services that we link to and do not operate.
Scope and current service design
The current website offers educational content and free browser-based tools for reflecting on a recent argument, invisible household responsibility and recurring money conflict. The public tools do not require an account, name, partner invitation or payment.
The free tools are designed to process structured selections in the browser. They do not intentionally upload your selected relationship answers to a site database in order to calculate a result. Because we do not store those answers, we generally cannot retrieve, review or delete a completed free-tool session from our systems.

Information we collect
The information we receive depends on how you use the website.
Structured free-tool answers
Your selected answers and generated result are processed on your device in the current free tools and are not intentionally transmitted to a relationship-profile database.
Technical and server-log data
Our host and security systems may process IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page, date and time, referring domain, response status and security events.
Contact and correspondence
If you email us or use a contact form, we receive the information you submit, such as your email address, name if provided, subject, message and attachments.
Browser storage and preferences
A tool may use temporary browser memory or device storage to support the active session, interface state or clearing behavior. Browser history and synced-device traces are controlled by your browser or device.
Free-tool answers and relationship content
The free tools are intentionally structured to avoid asking for names, addresses, bank credentials, message uploads or a complete relationship narrative. The selections can still be sensitive because they may concern conflict, finances, caregiving, safety or emotional state. We therefore design the current tools so those selections can be evaluated in the browser without creating an account or relationship record.
Technical data
Like most websites, the act of requesting a webpage causes technical information to be transmitted to the server that delivers it. Hosting, content-delivery, firewall, anti-abuse and security providers may process this information to deliver pages, maintain availability, diagnose errors and detect malicious activity.
We may review aggregated traffic summaries or server logs for operational and security purposes. We do not currently use public-page session replay, advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral profiles.
Messages you send
When you contact us, do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, full payment-card details, bank login credentials, private medical records, legal evidence, intimate images or information that could create danger if another person accessed your email or device.
We do not provide emergency response, crisis counseling, legal representation, medical care or protected health-record services. For urgent safety concerns, use appropriate local emergency or specialist resources from a safer device when possible.
How we use information
We may use information we receive for the following purposes:
- Deliver website pages, free tools and requested content.
- Maintain site functionality, accessibility, availability and security.
- Detect, investigate and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, attacks and technical failures.
- Respond to questions, contact messages and privacy requests.
- Understand aggregated site performance and improve navigation or content.
- Comply with applicable law, enforce site terms and protect legal rights.
- Create or maintain records reasonably necessary for the purpose for which you contacted us.
We do not use free-tool answers to diagnose you or your partner, create a hidden relationship profile, train an artificial-intelligence model, determine creditworthiness or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
How information may be disclosed
We may disclose limited information in the following circumstances:
- Hosting, infrastructure and security providers. Providers may process technical data to host the site, deliver pages, maintain backups, prevent abuse and protect the service.
- Email and contact-service providers. Messages are processed by the email or form systems used to receive and respond to them.
- Professional advisers. We may disclose information to legal, accounting, security or technical advisers when reasonably necessary and subject to appropriate duties.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is required by law, legal process, court order or necessary to protect rights, security or the integrity of the website.
- Business transition. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and this Policy or a successor notice.
- At your direction. We may disclose information when you ask us to or provide valid consent.
Service providers may only receive information reasonably connected to the service they perform. Their own handling may also be governed by their contracts, policies and applicable law.
Third-party websites and safety resources
The website links to independent organizations, including safety, crisis and educational resources. When you follow an external link, the destination may receive your IP address and other technical information and will apply its own privacy policy. We do not control those services.
Sale, sharing and targeted advertising
We do not currently sell personal information. We also do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use third-party advertising networks on the public website.
We do not receive money for free-tool answers, and the current free tools do not send structured answers to advertisers, data brokers or social-media advertising platforms.
If these practices materially change, we will update this Policy and provide any notices, controls or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law before the new practice begins.
Global Privacy Control and similar signals
Because we do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or advertising-sharing activity to opt out of on the current public site. If we engage in a covered activity in the future, we will process legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law.
Cookies and browser storage
The current public website does not require an account and does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or session-replay technology.
Depending on the page and site configuration, the following may still occur:
- The browser may store history, cache, recent tabs, autofill information or synced activity.
- A free tool may use temporary browser memory or local device storage to support an active session, interface selection, reset or Quick Exit behavior.
- WordPress, hosting or security systems may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for administration, security, load balancing or abuse prevention.
- External websites reached through links may set their own cookies or tracking technologies.
You can use browser controls to delete or block cookies and local storage. Blocking necessary technologies may affect page functionality. Private-browsing mode may reduce some local traces but does not make activity invisible to a device administrator, network provider, employer, monitoring software or another person with device access.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, to maintain security and operations, to comply with law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Free-tool answers: not retained by us in a relationship-profile database under the current design.
- Server and security logs: retained according to operational, hosting and security settings and deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably necessary, unless a security incident or legal requirement justifies longer retention.
- Contact messages: retained while responding and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up, recordkeeping, security or legal purposes.
- Backups: information may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups rotate or are securely deleted.
Retention can vary based on the nature of the information, sensitivity, operational need, risk of harm, legal obligations and whether deletion is technically feasible in active and backup systems.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These may include access controls, encrypted web connections, software updates, backups, security monitoring and limiting collection.
No internet transmission, email system, browser, device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for choosing a device and connection appropriate to your situation, particularly when another person may monitor your activity.
Quick Exit and reset controls can clear the active in-page tool state and move away from a tool, but they cannot guarantee deletion of browser history, network logs, screenshots, downloads, synced-device activity or monitoring-software records.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to us, you may have rights to request access to personal information, obtain a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or limit certain uses, opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, withdraw consent, appeal a decision or receive equal service when exercising a right.
We voluntarily accept reasonable privacy requests even when a specific law may not require the requested action. Some requests may be limited by legal exceptions, security requirements, the rights of other people or the fact that we do not possess identifiable information connected to a free-tool session.

- Describe the right you wish to exercise and the information or interaction involved.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding. We will only request information reasonably necessary for verification and will use verification information for that purpose. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require proof of authority and direct confirmation from the person concerned.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will explain if we cannot fulfill all or part of a request.

This section provides additional information for California residents. California law may provide rights to know, delete, correct, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, and receive non-discriminatory treatment, when the law applies to a business and the information involved.

We have not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising through the current public website during the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 16.
Requests and non-discrimination
California residents may submit requests through the methods in Section 9. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision, you may reply to our response and state that you are appealing.
Children's privacy
The website and relationship tools are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected]. We will review the request and take appropriate steps to delete information when required.
Parents and guardians should consider whether relationship, safety or crisis content is appropriate for a minor and should use qualified youth-specific support where needed.
International visitors
The website is primarily designed for users in the United States. If you access it from another country, technical or correspondence information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
Privacy rights vary by location. Where applicable law grants additional rights, you may contact us using Section 9. We will evaluate the request based on the law that applies to the website and the information involved.

We may update this Policy when the website, tools, service providers or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
